ADICIONES AL ANEXO I DEL DECRETO IMMEX (MAQUILA)	ADDITIONS TO ANNEX I OF THE IMMEX (MAQUILA) DECREE
Como ustedes podrán recordar desde el año 2006 en que nace el Decreto IMMEX se creó el Anexo I en el que se contiene un listado de fracciones arancelarias que se encuentran vetadas para su importación de manera temporal, esto es, los productos que se clasificados en las fracciones listadas en el Anexo I del Decreto IMMEX no pueden ser importados de manera temporal con todo lo que ello implica.	As you may recall, since the IMMEX Decree was issued in 2006, Annex I has contained a list of tariff classifications that are barred from temporary importation. That is, products classified under the tariff items listed in Annex I of the IMMEX Decree may not be imported on a temporary basis, with all that this entails.
Este Anexo I, con el objeto de proteger la industria nacional, ha sido adicionado en varias ocasiones para prohibir la importación temporal de distintos productos, esencialmente prendas de vestir, así el 28 de agosto del presente año, se publicó en el Diario Oficial de la Federación una adición más al Anexo I, que incluye una nueva lista de productos que NO podrán ser importados de manera temporal por las maquilas.	This Annex I, with the aim of protecting domestic industry, has been amended on several occasions to prohibit the temporary importation of various products—essentially articles of apparel. Thus, on August 28 of this year, an additional amendment to Annex I was published in the Federal Official Gazette, incorporating a new list of products that may NOT be imported on a temporary basis by maquiladoras (IMMEX companies).
Los productos cuya prohibición ha sido decretada a partir del 29 de agosto se encuentran clasificados en el capítulo 64 de la Ley de los Impuestos Generales de Importación y Exportación (LIGIE) son 40 y se trata de calzado. Es importante revisar esta lista para tomar las acciones legales pertinentes.	The products whose prohibition took effect on August 29 are classified under Chapter 64 of the Law of the General Import and Export Taxes (LIGIE). They comprise forty items, all of which are footwear. It is important to review this list in order to determine and take the appropriate legal actions.
